Work on the Art Centre was completed this spring. Equipment is in place, the water is running, the sun has been shining and the Summer 2009 Season of workshops is well underway. Last fall Jack Stanley was hired as the Manager of the Art Centre and he has put together a full schedule of offerrings which can be seen on the workshops page. Here are a few photos of the first program which ran earlier this month. Vida Simon had a full class of young people drawing and experimenting with creative expression through art. Later this month Gerry Squires will return to conduct a painting workshop, and in August there will be a variety of programs - something for everyone.
