Paul Dean, Des Walsh, Dave Paddon.

This show replaced the originally scheduled "Sweet William" event which had to be cancelled due to the performer's personal circumstances.

Des Walsh, a key participant in the St. John's cultural rebirth of the 1970s, has an extensive career in Newfoundland's cultural industry as a poet/writer, screenwriter, actor and musician, although he is predominately recognized as, and associates himself, as a poet.

Paul Dean is a writer, a storyteller, and advocate for the traditional music and songs of Newfoundland & Labrador. Some of his stories have been published in the Newfoundland Quarterly and The March Hare Anthology. His first book of stories Come on with the Punt was published by Pedlar Press in 2016. He has strong roots in rural Newfoundland and continues to spend good times in Placentia Bay where he was born, as well as in Trinity Bight and Notre Dame Bay. Most of his stories are based in small communities in these parts of rural Newfoundland.

A retired airline pilot, Dave is a writer and performer of recitations and tall tales with an interest in Labrador and Newfoundland history. Dave wrote his first recitation in 2007 and has now written 60.
